How to remove acne cream stains

Any acne sufferer knows that medicinal creams can help clear up your skin, since their powerful bacteria-fighting ingredients get to the root of the issue. The downside though is that these ingredients can also ruin your clothes if they get on the fabric. Over the counter acne creams usually come with Benzoyl peroxide, which turns into hydrogen peroxide when it comes into contact with water and can bleach fabric. Acne creams can also cause orange or rusty coloured stains as well. So it’s important to act as quickly as possible, and use a washing detergent, like Ariel, with bleaching agents that remove acne cream stains. Follow our Ariel stain solutions tips for acne cream stain removal.

    Remove excess

Wash on the usual cycle on the hottest wash temperature indicated by your garment’s fabric care label.

  • 6
