How to remove gravy stains

Gravy goes on your Sunday roast - not your shirt, and if after getting gravy stain your instinct is to act fast, you’re right. Because gravy stains are a mix of grease and protein components, it’s important to treat the stain quickly. You can remove gravy stains completely by laundering the stained item in the hottest water allowed on the fabric care label, and using a high-quality washing detergent, such as Ariel PODS, that contains surfactants and enzymes. While that gravy spillage may leave a large, brown stain all down the front of your shirt, you can rely on Ariel stain solutions to help you with gravy stain removal in the first wash.

Put the POD in the drum

Getting rid of gravy stains from your clothes has never been easier. All you need to do is simply place one Ariel All-in-1 POD at the bottom of the drum before adding your clothes to the washing machine. Use one POD for medium soiled clothes or loads of 4-5 Kg, and two PODS for heavily soiled clothes, loads over 5KG, or hard water areas. Always make sure to check dosage instructions on your pack.

    Don’t overload your washing machine

Place the clothes in the washing machine and on top of the washing capsule. In case your clothes are heavily soiled, make sure you don’t overload your machine by leaving at least two palms-worth of space.

If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before drying, as if the stain is not completely removed drying will set the stain.
