You want your favourite clothes to be perfectly clean and free of tough stains. You look and feel your best in them, so getting them free from stains is important.
Yet stains are not simple things. They can be made up of sugars, grease, proteins, and much more. Your stained favourites could be made of cotton, linen, wool or much more. So how do we ensure Ariel can insure you against the toughest stains? To wash each variable would be a waste – sustainability and the environment are key concerns at Ariel – so we had to come up with a new way.
Modelling your stains
Thanks to the work of Ariel Fibre Scientists, Ariel has become a leader in Modelling and Simulation. Using computer programs, we can model exactly how each stain, and each combination of stains, will react on every type of garment.
Ariel Fibre Scientists simulate Ariel response to millions of staining scenarios and combinations, identifying the optimal amount of every single ingredient to best remove the toughest stains, whatever type they are.
This is how Ariel provides innovative stain removal in 1 wash, even on tough stains, helping you preserve the look, feel and smell of your favourite garments. This is all done with the help of Ariel’s computers. Instead of washing every fabric in every washing condition, covered in every possible stain, the Ariel Stain Modelling program simulates the outcome.
They make 10,000 tests for a total of more than 5,500 hours of simulation.
No more stain fear for your favourites
With our complex modelling simulating millions of stain combinations, we’re able to provide you peace of mind helping you getting your favourites clean as you love them. As 9 out of 10 women agree, wearing your favourite clothes boosts your confidence*. So you should be able to feel your best every day of the week.
No matter what life throws on you (or your clothes), you know that Ariel products are there to help your garments look great, however often they’re stained.
*Consumer data was collected via an online survey administered to a nationally representative sample of 1,023 adults in UK, Russia, South Africa, Philippines and Egypt. The survey was commissioned by P&G Fabric Care for Ariel and conducted by Ketchum Global Research & Analytics together with Norstat from May 1-18, 2015. The margin of error is +/-3% at the global level and +/-7% at the local level.
