Ariel All-in-1 PODS® are made with water soluble film, that rapidly dissolves upon contact with water, and does not contribute to plastic or microplastic pollution, as per EU Synthetic Polymeric Microparticles Regulation. Ariel All-in-1 PODS® make day-to-day life that little bit easier for everyone because they’re pre-dosed and compacted, thanks to their separate compartments. That means you can wash away everything from tough dirt to tomato sauce stains, without breaking a sweat!

But did you know that the Ariel All-in-1 PODS® water soluble film plays a vital role in getting your laundry outstandingly clean? It separates the Ariel All-in-1 PODS® ingredients until they reach the wash. This helps deliver that outstanding cleaning performance, even in colder temperatures. Washing colder saves energy and reduces the carbon footprint of your laundry because heating the water for your wash produces the highest carbon emissions.

Smart technology is used to make the water-soluble film for Ariel All-in-1 PODS® – ensuring it remains intact when dry (helping you safely store the detergent until your next wash), but fully dissolves upon contact with water during your wash when placed correctly in an empty drum before loading in your dirty clothes.

Ethylene Gas is what makes your bananas ripen in your fruit bowl, and a dilute form of Acetic Acid is used in household vinegar Other common ingredients include naturally sourced materials like glycerol (derived from vegetable oils) to increase flexibility, surfactants like those commonly found in soaps and shampoos to improve solubility and processing aides like silica that is found in most toothpastes. Smart technology is used to combine these ingredients to create the water-soluble PVOH film used in Ariel All in 1 PODS®.

Similarly, it is approved for applications, such as a coating for pills, extended-release tablets, eye drops, medical sutures, lotions, ointments, mascara, eyeliner and many other health and beauty care items
