What’s the difference between bio and non-bio?
The basic difference between a biological and a non-biological is that a biological detergent contains enzymes. Their job is to break down difficult stains like egg and blood. Only small amounts are needed as enzymes work throughout the wash and they work at low temperatures. Some non-biological detergents, such as Ariel powders and tablets, also contain bleach to help keep whites bright, so you still need to take care with coloured loads.
