Most delicate items need washing in cold water so they don’t shrink or lose colour. If your cold-water items are really dirty you might need to wash them for longer, or soak them in Ariel Excel Gel before washing. You should also check each item to see if any stains need pre-treating. Washing machine manufacturers also recommend putting fewer items into the drum.
